The database seedlist has over 4,200 Australian culture websites.
This database includes all Australian national, state and major regional cultural collecting institutions as well as non-government websites which were evaluated as significant to the culture sector.
Users can browse the database seed list by category, audience or location.
Users will need to consult the Culture Portal category conversion text file to enable deciphering of the seed list category numbers.
This data list of websites was previously developed by the Culture Portal for use with the Bluey Search functionality.
The Culture Portal at www.culture.gov.au closed on 1 July 2010. Please see the Communiqué - Culture Portal closure.
This website is being archived by the National Library of Australia, and will therefore be available as a permanent static resource through PANDORA at http://pandora.nla.gov.au/tep/21007 .
